Questions
Which demos work?
Any CS2 demo: matchmaking (in CS2, Watch → Your Matches → Download), FACEIT, your own server, or HLTV once you unpack its .rar. Upload the .dem, or the .dem.gz, .dem.bz2 or .dem.zst as it comes. CS:GO demos do not work.
Is signing in through Steam safe?
It is Steam's own sign-in: you enter your password on steamcommunity.com, never here, and Steam tells us only your public SteamID. We get no access to your inventory, trades or friends.
How does it know whether I won?
Your SteamID is in the demo. Every match you played in shows your result, your team first, and your K / D / A and ADR; matches you only watched show the score.
What happens to my demo and who sees the replay?
The demo is read once and deleted; the replay keeps positions and events, about 1 MB. A replay is seen by whoever has its link: links are random and listed nowhere, and you can delete a replay at any time.

Where do I find my demos?
- Matchmaking: in CS2 open Watch → Your Matches, pick the match and press Download. The file lands in
Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\replays\asmatch730_….dem. Valve keeps them for about a month. - FACEIT: open the match room and press Watch demo; upload the downloaded file as it is.
- Your own server or HLTV: any CS2
.demworks. HLTV archives are .rar: unpack them first.
